User passwords and special characters

Hi,
I accidentially entered 'üassword' (u with two dots, used in german and other languages) instead of 'password' as my user password. After restarting the game, I'm not able to login to the uplink internal services system anymore, my username/password is not displayed and entering it manually doesn't work, too. (NOTE: Entering it manually works!)
Would be nice, if anyone could fix that. (Is there a known workaround to change the password?)
