Window 7 (64) Display Issue

Postby 101stumpy » Sun Jun 06, 2010 11:39 am

Hi all,

I'm new to the game, thanks to buying the great Defcon. Reading this game while loading it got me looking forward to playing it... however

When ever I load this game it display is off the screen, & i am unable to select the options on the far right.

Stuff done to try to fix...

the short cut path -w (no joy)

changing windows resolution (no joy)

when i window key & tab, i can see the full screen but when I select that screen no joy

can someone help I going mad here.

First of all no need to post the same thing twice

second we need some info first:

Where did you get the game from?

And what version are you running?

I had exactly the same problem.

Cause: Windows with high DPI settings.

Workaround:

Find Uplink.exe, e.g. "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\uplink\Uplink.exe"

Right-click, "Properties"

"Compatibility" tab

CHECK "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings".
