If you try to respond to a company's message saying that you have completed a mission, while waiting for another response from another company, Uplink will crash.

that must have been a one off occurance because i do that all the time and it doesnt crash...

Nah, happens to me sometimes too, I think it's if you do it just as an e-mail arrives
