uMP3 problems

So I've downloaded uplink today and I decided to change the music for the game and downloaded uMP3
but I've been having one (two?) little issues with it:
when I launch uMP3.exe after setting up the .ump3 file, the game starts and asks me to create an account except that I've already created one
also, I don't know if this supposed to happen or not but the music when I launch the game is still the default one, I don't know if it only changes when you go into the main game (and that the music in the manu can't be changed)
