Tracing a hacker job help

I'm suppose to find some hacker that hacked into my employers MF
Do I have to go, system to system & follow the logs??
or is there a faster way?
cuz im bored of writing down ip logs & hacking system after system.
Seriously the money is not worth it if this is the only way.
Some advice would be appreciated.

Yes, you have to hack into each system, copy down the IP from the logs, and hack the next one to follow the trail.

If you don't like it, don't accept those type of missions.
