Problem Hacking LAN

Postby Lord Nikon 2010 » Tue Mar 09, 2010 8:38 am

I don't know if anybody still posts here, there are extremely few recent posts, and given how old the game is i can't say i'm really surprised. but i found the game in a box while sorting through them and decided to play it for a while, after finishing the arunmor storey line i decided to make a new user and do the arc storey, starting it off by tracking down the revelationv0.7 file. i have gotton as far as hacking the darwin LAN but find myself unable to continue, i suspect this is some sort of bug but not sure, so thought i'd post here and see if i get any response. a screen shot is below of the problem.

the 3 locks on the far left do not have any controllers linked to them, so i do not understand how to unlock them to access the main computer[/url]

Oh, many companys use this kind of LAN.
It's pretty annoying.

Try my way:
1.Broke lock with LAN_Force.
2.After that, click the RESET button AS SOON AS POSSIBLE on LOCAL AREA NETWORK interface at right side.
3.If you do it successfully, The system admin should not log in.
4.Start broke another lock with LAN_Force......(Repeat)

PLZ forgive my english if there's any poor grammar.

You're welcome. :)
It's not my idea. I learn it from a BBS in China.

Beside, is there any way NORMAL to hack in the main computer? :?:
This "LAN_Force trick" worked, I know.
But it makes the game less fun.
(I wanna break the password. It makes me feel more like a real hacker.)

I did.
But I can't finger them out.
Maybe my english is not very well.
Or maybe the topics didn't mention about the three locks of this topic.
Anyway I'm still confused.
I just hope open three locks in NORMAL WAY instead of "LAN_Force trick", That's it......

I think the game generate this LANs randomly... Therefore you can run on both of LANs systems (when LAN_Force is necessary, and when LAN_Force is unnecessary) I experienced both of them.

Bar one or two lans they are generated randomly, as such sometimes, just sometimes, it generates one that is a little broken. In that case lan_force can indeed be a way around it.
