If real life were like Uplink

Instead of doing things like "Why isn't Uplink isn't like real life yadda yadda" I've decided to do the direct opposite, just to generate discussion.... Or humor.

So, we're doing it like... If real life would imitate Uplink. How would things go?
My first initial reaction is something like this :

How banks cooperate with each other in Uplink.

- Every bank has immediate access to each others transaction records. One bank can ask every bank if they suddenly got a bank transfer with a huge amount.)
- They don't bother asking the account holder for any disrepancy regarding their accounts. (Sir, I remember you only having 25,300. But now you have a million cash...... How did that happen?)
- Banks allow any huge kind of withdrawals without asking anything (I wish this is really how it goes in real life.)
- You can only withdraw/use cash in a bank account on one computer only (Proxy)

Other stuff :

- A universal voice call system (No YM! no Skype!)
