hey everyone, words have been popping up in multiple forums about running projects. Me, blakhawk and syrtis, (the Netwraith computer technologies inc team-netwraith for short) started a new running project recently. It is called project ubc1029. The name is from the police code section explaining high tech fraud. anyhow, right now we're going with darkbasic as a language and hope to include some awsome graphics. Features should include freelance and given missions, a storyline(undetermined) that should deal with a government agency (eg. CIA FBI NSA etc.), software and hardware upgrades, and more stuff that i cant think of at the moment. We could use some help with ideas on the storyline and when we start the actual coding we made need help there. Anyway just wanted to get our project out there and please give us some feedback.
thanks
thanks

We're still not an official company yet. we're not incorporated yet (we're too broke to do that right now). once we have at least one sellable product, then we will work on the business side of it. we are in the storyline-stage right now, any suggestions would help, if your suggestion has a big enough impact on the game, we'll put you in the credits (a little bribery trial but still worth the try). if you suggest different languages or storylines, we will take them into consideration. Thanx

We already have many people on the testing list but when we release an alpha version we'll post it for you once we finish our website. How much does your domain cost field doc. Thanks for all the help, darkbasic seems like the way to go. Good luck with your game. remember any suggestions would be kindly accepted (we'll try to get the alpha version out soon) as soon as we think of a storyline. With dark basic we might even be thinking of making it so that you can leave your computer. just a thought. Once we get better with the lang. we'll bounce some more ideas. thanks for your help.

@Spectre:
My domain name (I am getting a new one since the one my screenies are posted on is for another purpose) cost about £8 from:
http://www.lowcostnames.co.uk
However, they use URL masking so I am looking for another place to get a domain name and a cheapish webhoster (any suggestions people?)
