Cant Rotate the Road Gate

Minor issue i seem to be having in the mac version havent tested for it under windows but I am not able to rotate the road gates when i want to add them .
ther items rotate ok but icant get this too .
I am runniNG a 2014 Macbook Pro OSX 10.12.5 16GB RAM 256 SSD

That's intended. As the name implies, the road gate is meant for the road, which always goes in north/south direction, so you cannot rotate the gate. You could in an earlier version but the devs removed that option.
