Playing since the new update is horrible. My game crashes every 5-15 minutes. It crashes without any error so I try to give some help to reproduce the crashes.
Possible actions to let the game crash:
- New inmates arrive.
- Creating a dorm room and after that replace a bed with a bunk bed.
- Connecting two dorms together. (remove wall between two dorms and connect them through the dorm room tool)

If any other information is needed i will try to provide it.

I am currently experiencing the same problem. It seems to happen when a prisoner gets assigned to a dormitory with a bunk bed.

Yeah I've just tried again, and it only seems to happen with bunk beds. Regular beds are just fine.

Just wanted to add that I've had several crashes in new and old saves since the new update.

Same here. Running Update 1 on Mac OS Mavericks, and the game is simply UNPLAYABLE now. Crashes every 5-10 minutes, no warning, no clue. Seriously hope we get that fixed BEFORE December 18!

Update 1a is now available, should hopefully fix this crash. Please let us know.

For me, it crashes on day 12 at 8:50pm. Happens every F*CKING TIME!

You guys realize this thread is 8 months old? I understand searching for similar topics but please read the dates before posting in a thread this old. The odds are that whatever the issue in the thread was has already been addressed.

The person I was replying to posted yesterday, they're who I was responding to. Maybe a mod can split the topic.

Hi. I'm new to the forum and starting experiencing crashes after a few minutes play on a new save using 2.0. It only started doing it today.

Dunno whether anyone has figured this out for them, but in my case, I tested a new save and no problems. I reloaded the problem save and noticed the crash occurred just before the prison bus is due to appear.

I reloaded and closed intake. Time past and the crash didn't occur. Reestablished intake, and the bus appears the next day without the crash. So far so good.

Scratch that. The save continues to repeatedly crash for unknown reasons, not linked to prison intake now.

Same here. Got my game from steam, I've reinstalled it, verified game cache. Keeps crashing with and without mods. I know this is an old thread but is seems relevant especially given that problem has not been solved as of yet
