Hey all,
i am about to make some you tube videos explaining and breaking down prison architect as well as the stuff in the future updates that is to come. Just to make the videos more meaningful and helpful to you, what are some things you'd like to see? thanks

What about workshops? Any function other than an automatic income from the share placement of the room?

Just automatic income right now. So to balance your income a little, you can place workshops everywhere, but i've read, that it can kill your fps.

The building of them sure can - a 50x50 will tie up most machines for a good 30 seconds or so.

i'm guessing the workshops will eventually become a place for the prisoners to makes things for the prison to sell?

Yeah it'll probably be a combination of "work" satisfaction (or rather - they get less bored, but tired faster) and that of making license plates (a classic prison cliché) that earn you money passively.
