I meant to respond to this awhile ago. I can accept that this approach works for you and for your mod, but it doesn't sound like very good tactics in general. I'd expect a rather high casualty rate if soldiers fought this way. It seems more appropriate to:

Identify the greatest threat.
Determine its most vulnerable location, and attack from there.
Always leave yourself a way out (i.e. retreat path).

...and never leave enemies behind you - otherwise, you'll suddenly be fighting a battle on two fronts.

Exactly. That's a better way of phrasing what I meant in the last line, and the way it actually gets implemented.

Change the RGB colour assigned to the vertices in the .shp file.

Example:

Code: Select all

   Colours: 2
      0: 228 214 153
      1: 255 255 153
Vertices: 48    # Position ID then Colour ID
      0:   0   0
      1:   2   0
      2:   3   1
      3:   1   0
      4:   4   0
      5:   5   1
      6:   7   0
      7:   6   1
      8:   8   0
                ...etc.

Nihil's site explains it here.
