wow that sounds really good. the only thing with that intro was that the middle bit sounded rather geeky and techno-ie.

sounds awesome tho!

Repaxan legitimately bumped the topic in order to ask if there had been any progress. martin helpfully replied by informing him that no one here has heard anything about Darwinite in a long time, and that it may be dead. Do you have a problem with that?

good god, I expected this to be a "repaxan bumped this and martin came along as was an idiot", thanks xander :)

incidentally, I assume that no one else has heard anything about darwinite? or indeed if anyone even has any proof if miah is alive? 0o

prophile claims that Miah is alive, and was online earlier today. Miah is busy with classes and <redacted>, which may go some way to explaining his absence. However, I have not heard anything about Darwinite in over a year. I don't know if that means that it is dead, or simply moved to a very back burner.

Tycho says this:

Well... Working on figuring out what to do about it. We contacted the cybersquatter and asked how much he wanted. He wanted some exorbitant price of like, £50,000. I said 'no' promptly and suggested to Miah that we rename the project.

Why did all of the Darwinia mods die? Its as if everyone dropped what they were doing. This looks really interesting. I hope it hasn't been abandoned.

Not all of the mods are dead -- there just aren't many active modders making anything new at the moment. As to Darwinite, who knows if it will ever be created.

I suspect interest in darwinia modding will be revived somewhat when multiwinia is released.

Also, as of aptil Miah will still alive with onlink, so maybe he's still doing darwinite too?
