Multiplayer idea:

You have two spawn points on either end of a virus filled map, the pattern buffer sits in the center with 4 scanners dotted around the map, the winner is the person to remake the pattern in their immage.

I assume That a single scanner eventually will convert the entire buffer as will two scanners if the enermy has only one.
