exiting darwinia demo problem

Postby madman2k » Sun Mar 20, 2005 4:46 pm

when I try to exit the demo, the game is not being shut down - only the screen becomes black, but I can still hear the ingame sounds.
The only thing I can do now is restarting the X Server :?

My System:
Kernel 2.6.10
fglrx 8.10.19

AthlonXP 2800+
768MB RAM
R9800XT
Nforce2

thx - but I still think, that it is better, if the game simply shuts down on clicking exit

To get around this you can edit the lib/open-www.sh script and remove all the attempts to launch a browser..

The code seems pretty solid, not sure why it crashed. A better if statement system would probably work better :D
