IRC Information [NOT a bug report]

Postby Dave2 » Sun Dec 26, 2004 10:51 pm

If you're interested in discussing the Darwinia Linux beta, and any bugs you may find, there's an IRC channel set up for discussion of it. To get access to it:
Server: irc.uplinkcorp.net
Channel: #darwinialinuxbeta

IMPORTANT
You will be kicked out of the channel by ChanServ if you attempt to join without getting correct access first.

To start with, you must register your nick; to find out how, type /ns help register (or /quote ns help register if your client doesn't send unknown commands to the server, like irssi). Then you must bug someone with access to add you to the channel access list. The people currently with access to add new users are Dave2/Dave2|Laptop and John. If neither of us are online, join #darwinia and wait for one of us, then bug us when we're on. Dave2|irssi probably won't be active or checked regularly, if it's on.
