a different vista patch problem

when i try to install the vista patch the installer says that "this is a patch you must have the full game first"
it does not load after that i must make this clear that it DOES NOT turn my game into a fake demo it refuses to load before that
would ever happen

Try reinstalling Darwinia from the CD to a different directory and then try patching it up?
