Can I simply send a £10 note to Introversion & get a boxed set of Darwinia back? I can't pay online (no credit card) & can't write cheques (no book).

Unfortunately, this is the forum. Asking people here isn't going to get you an answer. I would suggest using IV's contact page.

If it has happened before, the people to whom it happened were all clever enough to write IV, and ask them themselves. The few who weren't that clever posted on the boards, and were told to contact IV directly. Search, in this case, may have been your friend. Common sense would have worked, too.
