Steve will be well missed by many children that watched his show on The Discovery Channel. I think children liked his honest friendly approach, he gave his subjects a since of excitement and wonder. I watched him on Larry King just days before his demise, a true naturalist. He always meant well to everyone...I feel for his Wife and Daughter. I can't speak for European TV, but here in the States...he was on The Discovery Channel and others everyday. At schools and home, children will be very saddened.
He saved the Park where he works from bankruptcy, I hope they fair well in the future. We need more honest fun loving people like him in today’s world.
