I must agree. I played it, but never really understood the appeal...

really? :? I think Gish rocks.

What's not to like about playing as a blob which can change its shape and consistency?

Gish had me hooked from the first 5 minutes of playing the demo. Sadly, I cannot say the same for Darwinia. I did get hooked on Darwinia, but it took more playing before it happened.

So do a lot of people, appearantly. As I said, I just don't really understand the appeal. It did not resonate with me. Entirely an issue of personal taste, I suppose.

Chris DeLay gave me one, having met a die-hard American Introversion fanboy for the first time. They were asking me if I played Uplink, how often I played Darwinia, how many times I beat each game, if I was looking forward to Defcon (which they showed off in auto-play, it's chaotic), and Chris whipped out his wallet, gave me this shiny, custom-made metalic credit card-like business card with all the text endented in. A small darwinian is pressed into the back of the card, as well. Dead sexy.

That either must be a new revision of the cards, or I'm not looking hard enough at my two I've got here :|

Hmm, ok, I'm re-attempting to extract the frames. For some reason, my stream download didn't have any sound. Which was odd. Since it did when I last checked.

If anyone else wishes to extract the data, here's the index time and frame numbers you'll need:

start: 18:50 - 33787
end: 19:40 - 35282

And one for the road:
INCOMMING!

Classic :)

Congrats IV! You guys deserve it! :)

Remember, you are not just four guys working from your bedrooms - you are four freaking geniuses working from your bedrooms.

And don't you forget it!

Silly me. I had WMP on mute, hence why the sound didn't work...

Anyway, for those that don't wish to download the whole stream:
