Password makes server unjoinable

Hey, a few friends and I have been playing this for some time, but haven't been able to get passworded servers to work. No matter who is hosting the server, when we set a password, no one else can join. We always end up having to go unpassworded and kicking other players, and we hate that! Is this a known bug?

Hmm. Odd. Anyone up for testing this sometime?

i often host password protected games up to 4 players.
works just fine...
humm.
what happens when your friends try to join? (server does not respond, wrong password, or what do they get?)
