Steam achievements not for retail version.
I bought the Limited Edition Multiwinia Box-set (http://store.introversion.co.uk/product ... ucts_id=61) and I want to try and do the achievements that the Steam version has. I use Steam often and would like to run Multiwinia off Steam and get all the benefits of doing so. Is this possible? Is this issue going to be covered?

I don't see how that is unfair. When you buy the Steam version from Valve, you are paying for all of the perks (or disadvantages) that come from Valve. If you do not pay Valve, then what motivation do they have to support you, and give you Steam perks? To me, it seems unfair to demand that Valve provide support to people that haven't paid them any money.

I suppose you're right. *sigh* I'll have to buy a second copy.
Thank you anyway, guys.

I guess 2D Boy have a different arangement with Valve.
That was only a temporary arrangement for those who pre-ordered World of Goo (before they knew it would be available on Steam) though, right? I would imagine it's more of a special exception.

True, though judging by the time it took to issue all the pre-order links it would seem to be a significant number of people.
