Disguising colours?

I can remember one particulary match where I didn't see my opponent well. He was red in Barbs of Madness, so I figured this can actually be quite handy, do any of you use colours on purpose because they match with the map?

Hee! I used to do that in Tiberian Sun - I always took bright green, and hid my army in tiberium fields! Haven't thought of doing it in Multiwinia...thanks for the tip!

Age of Empires 2's gray colour blended in with the minimap.

I've had the opposite issue when playing blue coop, the dark blue can sometimes be hard to see on some maps.
But it balances out when it's hard for others to see them as well.

I'd think it would be hard to cameoflauge your units... since they're surrounded by black borders and always move.

Plus, they seem to get a little bigger when you zoom out.

Problem with camouflaging is that you can't see them either. 'tis why I tend to use pink - it's a lot easier to keep track of my DGs.
