Ants and Plague.

Plague is potentially more devastating than Ants... if they're at your spawn point.

I didn't have much trouble with plague... Maybe because i usually send 5 guys to open the crates, and if the plague comes, i'll send the sick mws straight to the enemy spawn :twisted:

Yeah, but in particular this crate dropped down next to my spawn points.

Fortunately it was near the end of the game...

Soul Destroyers are nasty, but are not very frequent.

Ants however, are truely game ending.

Yep, hate the ants.

Yeah, I find slow down and speed up to be nothing but pointless and annoying. :/

Slow down lets me aim carefully when I'm controlling turrets. Never remove it. :P

1. Ants (mid-spec rig + 4 players = playable. mid-spec + 4 players + 2 Ants nests = LAAAAAGGG)
2. Soul Destroyers right on my SP/Radar dish output
3. Dark Forest spam on SPs
4Evilwinians if hte crate drops right on your SP (as it so frequently does for me)

1. Futurewinians. I played a few solo games over the weekend (damnable lack of internets) and two games in a row one of the first crates had Futurewinians. They promptly descended and sucked up all the DGs at my spawn points, forcing me into Retribution mode with 8 minutes left on the clock. The second time they then managed to open a crate that contained a soul destroyer. Neither me nor my AI opponent got any points that time.

2. Ants. Horrible. Get one of these at your spawn and you can pretty much forget about using any reinforcements from there.

3. Meteor shower. Not really an annoying power-up, more like underwhelming. It never seems to hit what I want it to when I drop it.

Never really had much of a problem with any other power-ups. I think it's been mostly luck that I've not been hit with any infections or triffids.

all power-ups that spawns creatures should have a time limit, then creatures should disappears, they are too strong imho, having one of that near a multiwinian's spawn point it's a lost battle.
else give that less hit point so they can be easily destroyed, or make it as they will have a variable hit point based on map population.

Like big bad flying centipedes. Triffids tend to spawn them a lot.

Definitely ants. Not just hard to get rid of, but slow the computer to a near standstill!
