I doubt that it would actually be all that cool. In a long game, you could lose enough DGs to SDs (and dark forests) that no more DGs could be spawned, which would be a pretty poor way to end a game.

Speed up and Slow down don't affect the game timer.

It's rather noticeable when you're attacking on an assault map with 30 seconds to go.

Randomiser used on a non-ordinary team (i.e. future/evilwinians) will cause the 'winians to transform back into normal multiwinians and only get their colors changed. This is basically anti-subversion, in my mind... and it's amongst the most effective crates to be used against Futurewinians yet, because if they have 100+ futurewinians around when it springs, it could possibly allow you to capture the spawn point if the randomiser is in your favor...

Considering the stories I've heard about them, I think you might be right.
