If you knew the location of the Defcon Launch Party you could have gotten away with just turning up since, at least for me, I was never required to actually prove I invited, despite the invite telling me to give a password. I'm guessing the old guy at the counter had given up asking for it by the time I got there... I was quite disapppointed actually...

I'm probably way to young to go to the party whenever it is, even if it is after my birthday (don't worry, I am 13 or older). Living on the West Coast near Seattle doesn't help either.

You would have to get to London. So "west coast" doesn't even begin to describe your geographical isolation from the location of the party.

Interesting, well, I'll keep my fingers crossed, Introversion has fast become my favourite developer of late and I'd love to meet some of the forumites in the flesh. ^_^
