If there was a launch Party....

Postby desktopsimmer » Sat Aug 30, 2008 11:11 am

For DEFCON the launch party was set in the ideal location, the old Cabinet War Rooms. But what about Multiwinia, what venue would be the idea location? Dr Sepulveda lab? I'm sure that IV have got something interesting up their sleeves :)

All Ideas list them here. Points will be added for comical and outrageous locations.

Yo Momma's the ideal location!

Also:
The Science Museum
Cabinet War Rooms (It's only... twice as many years out of place)
The Flying Hamster Marketers' Room (I have this in mind, for some reason)
McDonalds

Oddly enough, my Mother is rather busy on the 19th :)

Do you all think we should storm the F'ing Ham'sta like a "King of the hill" surge :) There only a few of them and a lot of us.....
Mind you, what side are the beta tester on, or are they another army?

Oh Idea...
Richmond Park, with Water pistols and a bring solid colour clothing (Green, Red, Blue, yellow). however it is september and its getting a tad chilly

I had a similar idea, but with paintball apparel.

Although basically just replacing the pneumonia with bruises.

The ideal location would be Second Life.

/me runs and hides.

That would be awesome if not for the fact that it would require extensive setup, renting land, hiring builders or some such

Don't worry, there wasn't a Launch Party. But if there were to be one, we'd want to use the subjunctive mood to refer to it ;)
Gentlemen, you can't fight in here: this is the War Room!

knowing nothing about Secondlife (and I want to keep my exposure to a minimum), and the risk of sound like a complete n00b, what is a "dicknipple raider", gatecrasher, asshole, or worse?

A raider (think 4chan* & Habbo Hotel) with dicknipples. They're bound to exist, everything fucked up is on Second Life. My university course had modules that required the use of Second Life, which was naturally fucked up.

surely darwinia itself would be the best location but I don't think IV have a holodeck yet (oh gosh a star trek reference *hides in shame*)
