Programming/Scripting

Postby quickdan » Tue Jun 29, 2010 2:48 pm

Will there be a programming or scripting element to the game play?
If there were only two games to play in the world, I would choose a text editor and a good C compiler.

As part of the actual gameplay, I seriously doubt it. Since it require unrealistic demands from the players.

Although I remember Chris mentioning that he would be including Lua script so that the game could be easily modded or somesuch.

If it was really simple to script up and if there was a tutorial, I think most players could figure it out.

Did you ever try Wire Mod for GMod? It's going to have something like that :)

That's kind of what I think would be interesting like Garry's Mod, but IV style and based around this game where you could go and test out experiments or scripts that you made

I would prefer to mod it manually, like unziping the whole game file and editing it from there.
