A question about lot generation

Hi,
I dont know if this is the right place to ask, but I wondered if someone could kindly share some ideas about how you generate lot shapes, post street generation?

I assume that Pascal Mueller has been of some influence to you, but in his english papers he's abit unclear as to how to create the building lots.

I read a suggestion that it involves scaling the corners. But what I dont understand is how you determine in which direction to scale? To know this, you need to know the center position of the shape and whether its completely surrounded by streets.

And how do you iterate through the entire screen, looking for potential lots? From your videos, the lot generation looks almost instantaneous, so it must be a fairly simple procedure I would imagine?
