This one, please

.... or maybe you should have zero direct control and they should simply respond to fights based on their training, equipment and orders from you.

I'd be okay with being able to order guards to sound an alarm, but I really like the idea of guard training and peception stats to catch the misdoings of my filthy inmates. Looking forward to the future. Glad I purchased.

this was a great video - the new features look awesome!

Interestingly, one of the many insightful things Chris says about the design of Prison Architect explains why fog of war has reduced the fun of the game a little for me, at least in its current form:

@15:10
the complexity of these simulation layers up until you get really lovely emergent behaviours and really strange things happening in your prison that are really fun to see.

at least fog of war is optional :)

For what it's worth: perhaps an Age of Empires Online style fog-of-war would be better than roofing over areas i.e. you see the prison as it was the last time you "saw" it with an NPC on your side.
Now I'd best go find a thread where this feedback is appropriate!

The escape tunnels look like an awesome mechanic. Will workers be able to 'bump' into these escape tunnels occasionally, when building power lines or water pipes? If a prisoner is found to be digging an escape tunnel, will the tunnels be filled-in by the workers?

Will there be ways to make it harder for prisoners to escape through tunnels? Like maybe building deeper walls etc.(i'm not very creative, sorry)

elfarcher26: If you have a problem with Prison Architect, please post in the Prison Architect Developer forum.

To answer your question, you need to extract the .zip archive and then run "prison architect.exe" from inside the extracted directory.

I'm starting to Support this game. And i say it would look awesome on my iPad. Please consider an iPad port. I would gladly spend another 30 bucks on an iPad version, even knowing that's very overpriced for current games on this platform.

if only we had nightlies.

Even WEEKLIES WOULD BE NICE.

I don't want to play the game until I can control parole and punishment which is rumored to come out next.

I've already played the game to it's fullest at the moment ;c.

Map Selection

I would be awesome to see if you guys could make it where you can choose between a island to build a prison like alcatraz and it effect the way you get supplies so say there is a storm that day and you don't get the supplies from the boat which would effect the way the day went :D
