I've been good! I got a full-time job a few years ago (where gaming sites such as this are blocked) so I can't spend as much time here as I used to. It's internal helpdesk work for the local county government, and I love it!

I also moved into my own place recently, having lived with my mom until then. Solo life is going awesomely. The hardest part is deciding what to make every time I want to eat. I basically know a grand total of 12 recipes, one of which is "Hamburger Helper" but I'm getting along.

I came out as pansexual to my family a few months ago, and everyone took it astonishingly well. I also told them about someone I met online who I now call my boyfriend. We're long distance, and haven't met in person just yet, but plane tickets are bought and the visit is set for July 19. Family also took this news surprisingly well. (A few people here might have seen him around the forums or the Minecraft server - his name is Tynach.)

I don't and never have had kids. :P

Bachelor chow! My strategy was always a baguette, a round of brie, and a bottle of wine. That's two days worth of food *right there*. I am also a big fan of the Moosewood cookbook Simple Suppers. Lots of good recipes in there, all of which are brain-dead easy to prepare.

I know you didn't have kids last time you were here, but things change! I was also making assumptions about midwestern fecundity (having gone to high school in Iowa, I just assume that everyone marries their high school sweetheart and has kids by the age of 20). Of course, the previous paragraph may or may not negate any such assumptions. :P
