Downloading Other Users Maps Off Of Steam

Hey guys, I feel really dumb but I never downloaded someone else's prison off of steam and I can Not find a forum/discussion for it. I would really appreciate any help, thanks

(by the way, I know subscribing to the mods automatically puts them in
the folder for the in-game use, but it didn't work for the map, I tried..)

If you have the steam version of Prison Architect you should go to the main menu, Extra, Steam workshop. There you can subscribe to prisons and they will be downloaded automatically.

If you don't own the steam version you should have received an email with a steam key to activate Prison Architect on Steam

I have the Steam version and I subscribed to the Death Star prison map and it did not download to my game. Is there anything else I need to do? That's all I did for the Mods and they all work perfectly..

The prisons should then be available on the steamworkshop page in the main menu
