Head Chef Role requested

Postby the__itis » Sat Jul 27, 2013 2:08 am

One of the biggest issues in the game is food.

We need a head chef role.

    Has an office
    Gives more detail on meals
Provides feed back on how many items are needed (chefs, fridges, cooktops, sinks, serving tables)
Be able to assign cooks to kitchens and canteens
Schedule when cooks start prepping meals

This should be the mechanism that controls meal quantity.
Portion control and variation are still good settings.

There needs to be more control and more knowledge. Example. I currently have 15 chefs, two kitchens, two canteens, 8 cook tops in each kitchen, 8 fridges in each kitchen, 4 sinks in each kitchen, 6 serving tables in each canteen....... I have 58 prisoners and I am not even feeding 15% of the prisoners. They can serve 10 meals but get stuck preparing and can't finishing serving the other 40 or so.... I have no idea why.

This is neither the Prison Architect forum, nor the developer section of said Prison Architect forum.

I'm sorry but I couldn't help my first reaction to seeing this thread which was: Kitchen spam detected.

Excellent idea though, hope to see it implemented.
