Tom Francis of PC Gamer fame sent me a link to these fantastic gaming wallpapers made by artist Drew Northcott. If you scroll down the list you'll see a Darwinia wallpaper and a Defcon wallpaper. We've seen these before a few years back, but this is the first time they've been available in proper wallpaper format at sufficiently high resolutions.

We're such fans of these images - Mark actually has the Defcon image printed onto a 6ft canvas in his house!

I saw these a few days ago, and I have to say that I am quite impressed by the Pollack/Defcon. Some of the others were also pretty nifty---I rather liked Jade with a Pearl Earring, for instance.
