I believe Defcon only uses relative inputs, not absolute, so tablets/smartboards etc. won't work nicely with it.

Can I ask you to elaborate without sounding like a complete idiot?

Sure! I just mean that when you move your mouse in Defcon, I believe the game only reads the movement of the mouse rather than the absolute position of it -- the in-game pointer doesn't care what pixel the pointing device is indicating, just the change in position from where it was before. As a result, pointing devices like tablets and smartboards which rely on indicating a specific position on screen don't work properly -- the game ignores where they're pointing, and only registers how they're moving.
(This is just hearsay, I haven't had a chance to try it on a tablet PC etc. myself)

Dunno about fullscreen mode, but in windowed mode, I'm pretty sure the ingame cursor just follows the regular mouse cursor, so tablets and touchscreens should work there.

Thanks. Be nice if multitouch was implemented. I mean it would be awesome if I could place two fingers onto the screen to zoom in and whatnot.

I can imagine the people through those windows weren't too happy. (If there were any there.)

Cool photo. Good example of how games could be advertised :)
