Multiwinia Launches!

Postby Chris » Fri Sep 19, 2008 6:00 pm

Introversion Software is delighted to announce that our fourth game Multiwinia is finished, and is ready for release!

The demo is now available for download from our Multiwinia website.

You can buy the game from our store and play the full game right away - we offer immediate digital downloads and we can also ship boxed copies to your house. You should also check out our limited edition Multiwinia Tin, which includes Multiwinia, Darwinia, two foam colour Darwinians, and a wonderful colour coffee table book exploring the art behind Darwinia and Multiwinia over six years of development. Visit our store to take a look.

In other excellent news, Eurogamer have posted their review of Multiwinia, giving us 8 out of 10! Click here to read it. Here are our favourite quotes:

Click into its leftfield groove and Multiwinia provides a quirky but devilishly compelling distillation of all that strategy games can be - rich, deep and compressed into intense digestible chunks. Yummy.
Oh, Introversion. Gaming needs you now, more than ever...

Enjoy the game everyone, we're popping the champagne as you read this!

Huzzah!

Congratulations! The game truly deserves its place in the hallowed halls of Introversion! I haven't had so much fun for a long time! Now, to work on Subversion!

And the global exclamation mark shortage.

I'll wait until the demo comes out! Then I'll see how good the game is!

Hehehe, excellent, the game is wonderful and I am having a great time with it, I even managed to get a game in earlier today while I was in a bar (Freshers' Week and Multiwinia = good day).

Long live Introversion!

Nice one, another fine addition to the IV Hall of Fame

I've just got the game loaded, will be playing when the insomnia kicks in. Probably start with the single player levels and then I'll take on the world, and probably lose.

...and watch the millions of the little darwinians march to war/death
