DEFCON freeplay weekend

Postby vic » Fri Aug 17, 2007 11:08 am

In conjunction with a DEFCON tournament running at this years PAX07, Introversion and Ambrosia Software (publishers of DEFCON Mac) have decided to run a DEFCON free-play weekend. The event will start at 18:00 GMT on August 24th and run until 06:00 GMT on Monday, August 27th at 06:00 GMT. During this time usual demo restrictions will be lifted and you won't be required to provide key codes to have access to the full game, making DEFCON free for all to play. Feel free to spread the word amongst your friends and family, and we look forward to welcoming a few new faces next week. :D

Anyone who's going to PAX07 and would like to help out with promoting DEFCON should see me while there (I'll be in the BYOC room somewhere, most of the time, I suspect). Vic sent me a bunch of DEFCON postcards a while back, and I figure PAX07 would be a great place to give a bunch of them away. :)

UPDATE: I'm at position N5 in the BYOC room. If you want some DEFCON postcards, let me know. ;)

I am just going to butt in an point out that Wendryn is a non-gamer, and picked up on this. Which means that Defcon must be getting wider coverage than earlier IV games, as neither Uplink nor Darwinia ever hit her radar, even with my constant endorsements. Long live IV! ;)
