'Launch' symbols linger - Defcon 1.6 x86 DEB installation

Howdy all,
I just installed Defcon 1.6 for Linux using the x86 DEB installation on Ubuntu 11.10.
It works great and it's really nice to have defcon integrated with my desktop!
The only issue I've noticed is that the yellow, 'launch' nuclear symbols have a tendancy to linger onscreen permanently after a launch rather than fading away. I'm assuming this is a bug.
