a file is misspelled

Postby Cappy » Sat Aug 25, 2007 8:32 am

a file is misspelled. I don't know if it matters or not but I thought I would give a heads up. (taken out since it is an easter egg)

Also, would anyone happen to know how to turn off that beeping terminal in the background that you get before you start playing a defcon game? It really really annoys me when I'm waiting on players to join. I turned off bunker6 in the sounds.txt SAMPLE but that just isn't enough.

It isn't bug -- it is an easter egg!

oh, somehow I forgot about that =P

well I turned off that terminal beeping. It is called "text" in the sounds.txt and I took out the first occurrence of it. I think it was in the group of AMBIENCE but I've forgotten now. I had to put sounds.txt back in the /libs/main.dat because putting the file at /data/sounds.txt didn't do anything. I also took out Bunker6 out of the sample. No more beeping now though!
