Man, if someone's being limited to vsync during heavy battle, then I've done well and would be happy to instruct them in disabling it

(MOR): I can't accept Mac people into the beta (less they using bootcamp). I can't build Mac builds mainly because I don't own a mac to dev on, and I'm unsure if my versions would be legal.

P4 2.6GHz (it's not a mobile chip, they thought it would be more powerful that way - and it *does* make a very powerful heater)
the much-lauded ATi Radeon IGP 345M, basically a Radeon 7000 which steals 64MB from my RAM instead of using its own.
512MB RAM (oh, minus the graphics card too - that'll be 448MB)

...and if you want low-end, I could run some tests (maybe not 4 hours, depends how long we have) on my sister's machine:
A64 3000+, 1 gig ram, 128mb 6600gt
