Try to actually look under the surface of things here. When did you start playing again? Let me check but I am guessing 2009/2010 or something who cares though. Any idea how the canvas of Defcon has actually changed over time probably not in my estimation. Seems people are happy with the status quo though; rather sad in the end or are you just maybe actually a bit of a prick? I'd go with that.

You'll be on ignore list it seems along with Reflection although I might give him a reprieve. This is what Defcon has become, attracting players of this ilk and personality with no sense of hunmour. How very sad. Used to be a fun place to hang out not cyber aggression zone to unload your own personal angst and self loathing.

That didn't really work back in the day, when there were "plenty" of FFA players active. In retrospect, a passworded server would have been preferable, where games could have taken place at any time amongst those who had opted IN on the forum (like any of the 2v2 tourneys that have been held since).

I might sit on one the FFA servers just to see how long it takes to fill up (and try and reignite interest through persistence).

Yes I know we tried to reintroduce it but not many takers...

I would go with the passworded server this time then...at the end of the day player numbers and people sticking around are the real bottom line when it comes to producing games. Kind of feel Defocn community spirit has decreased substantially as well with lack of characters and manners in my opinion as well though.

Well, we had a good 6 player FFA after all, and only had to wait 30 minutes or so (coby, coly, vsj, me, chirac, and another player who dropped quite early). It was Fun .

I'm taking a break from defcon due to the lack of time. PM me if you want me to unban someone (except sh), otherwise I hope Vic shall do something.
