AFAIK, IV have not even announced betas for Defcon. Hang around, I am sure that they will at some point soon. And welcome back!

Actually, in the Darwinia birthday thread, they mention the Defcon beta is coming up soon. Whether or not they meant an out-of-house beta wasn't specified, but we can presume.
You just wasted 3 seconds of your life you'll never get back, by reading this. Sucks, don't it?

Announced was the wrong word. That, or the phrase was poorly written. What I meant was that betas have not yet begun, and that IV have not even started asking for testers. They have not announced that betas are open.

If they find it fitting to place me in their schedule for testing, cool.
If not, I buy the game just all the same (or at least download the demo for a test spin first).

Eitherway, I'll play the game, and I'm happy.
This thread is nothing more than a housing for "lemme play4free the game!" spams. :(

I dont mean this in a bad way, but I can see real vets like coolsi and SBM being picked.

Unless, IV give newer forumites like me a chance at beta-ing.

well, they will probably pick a bunch of vets, but also pick a bunch of random people to get a good mix of hardware

Now who wasn't convinced about any of IV's games well before they were even out?
