Re: Prison Architect update 6 released - and NEW GAMES from

I think Wrong Wire looks like it could be so much fun and have a ton of potential. Could be so sweet if it had random elements so each level would be fun to play over and over.

Re: Prison Architect Alpha 29

I'm really happy that this patch brought new rooms, but I'm not really sold on the reward/fine aspect of parole. As a PC player I am also unhappy about the iPad thing. I would hope for the game to be 1.0 before going for conversion. The most important thing for me though, is that there are just 2 fe...

Re: [Suggestions] Long Post of lacking actual prison feature

While they have all been suggested before, that list is just about the complete list of my most wanted features, so I will co-sign. All of those features would add a ton to my experience of the game.

Re: [Suggestion] Pick which office staff will use

The staff and offices are joined on a Which Was Zoned First priority. The first staff you buy will go to the office that was zoned first, then second, etc. When I build my office area, I leave it unzoned until I'm ready to actually purchase the staff. Then I zone the Warden first, then Chief, Forem...

Re: An argument for having a level beyond Super-Max

Guys that behave like those legendarys are put on 24 hour lockdown, meals delivered, everywhere they move, they are escorted by guards, while in chains... There is no chance for them to burst out and massacre half your prison... This is what supermax should be. and minimum and normal should just be...

Re: An argument for having a level beyond Super-Max

Nice post. Your story had me smiling :) I don't really care what we call it. The crucial thing is to be able to lockdown prisoners 24/7. As mentioned the most important thing is to get a system where food is delivered to the cells. Would be nice if it was made like the laundrysystem where food was d...

Re: Suggestions from a Criminologist

That doesn't mean that a life sentence is 15 years (or 10 years). That means that the maximum sentence is 15 years, and a life sentence is not an option. I'm still confused. xander I think the misunderstanding stems from the fact that the term 'life sentence' is not used literally in scandinavian l...

Yeah we need something like this. The more options for regimes the better.

Re: Yet more on gangs

I think the idea of inmates bonding and starting their own "gangs" could create an interesting dynamic in the prison, but I do not think it works as the gang mechanic. First off it would be way harder to code, than having pre-set gangs. It also seems prone to dysfunction. It is not much fu...

Re: Yet more on gangs

+1 My personal ideas on top of this. Should there be some type of like informant who can tell you somethings about their recent activities? But then Have to be In a heavily secured area to avoid revenge crimes? Also there needs to be an error ratio of the gang identification. Lastly, not sure if th...

Re: Yet more on gangs

Thanks for your feedback. Personally I think it would be interesting to see racewars and such, but I also recognize that this is probably the hardest point on the list to implement nicely, because it requires a link between sprite selection and gang affiliation. I agree that this is perhaps not viab...

Yet more on gangs

Okay, first off this is not a suggestion to have gangs in the game. The reason for writing this post is that though most seems to agree that gangs should and will be implemented, Chris and Mark have been very quiet about it as of late. The last thing I've heard from them about it, was when they stat...

Re: [QUESTIONS] About bunkbeds and staff only zones

Thanks for your thoughts on this. Personally I would just love to get more prisoners in a single cell. I does not matter a whole lot to me, if it is bunkbeds or just being able to place multiple beds in a single cell. I see your point about the bunkbeds. IMO it would be just perfect, if the code som...

[QUESTIONS] About bunkbeds and staff only zones

I have two questions that I have been wondering about, and thought someone here might be able to answer them. I did search to find answers to them, but came up short. I assume that multiple prisoners in a cell is forthcoming since it is both a very intiutive and requested feature. I think it would b...

That sounds really cool and interesting, and props for explaining it so even a code-novice like myself could easily understand it. I hope the devs look into this, cause it sounds like a really clever approach.
