Well hacker101 i found a temporary fix. i found patch 1.54 and i can play the game after i dl it and install it. once i close the program then try to reopen it the issue returns. so i have to minimize it and leave it alone if i wish to play for extended periods of time. i do appreciate your help and...

Lol Deja Vu is right. Didnt know where to post it to make it in the right section. I erased what you said and nothing happened differently. I did do the full clear of it again and reinstalled it and the error was still present. I cant even begin to understand why it is doing this.

I downloaded the game from direct2drive. installed it and it ran great. I saw the option to try to make the resolution better so it said the game needed to be restarted. So i clicked ok and when it restarted the buttons were jumbled and the sync of where the buttons should be was off abotu 3 inches....

yea i got rid of the folders and even the download tools. like the setup program. I just did everything from scratch and it worked great. then i closed out the game, went back into it. and now its messed up again
