Wow, that is a bombshell ! Best luck to you at IGF. About the core gameplay - with all the technology (systems working together, etc), maybe an assassination game would be more interesting instead of a heist game. With consequences to acting rashly or not, that would then impact on later levels... J...

I think the Mac platform is getting bigger than what it was, indeed Steam is now offering Mac compatibility, but I agree with you about Windows being the most used OS, so therefore the main target for any game developper. The extra effort IS something to be reckoned with, essentially with small indi...

Actually, I use them because I'm French, not because I'm showing off. ^^ (And we use only bits & octets so I was indeed talking about the 8bits in a octet).

But you're right, main topic is the game, and I've got to go and try it out.

Not so silly actually, there's a difference between a byte and a bit. So i'm standing up for "octet" ! (even the name is a clue to it's nature :P )

Yes, that's true, in France 1Mo/s is quite rare too, even if it's becoming something common with cable and optic wires. (going easily above 1Mo/s)

But in comparison of other files, 100Mo is quite small. Depends how you look at it.

Yeah, the Mars trilogy is really awesome. I'm actually reading the third one, and it's still as interesting as when I began (quite a read !)

Joining up for Taurog as a Human Thief is pretty cool too, you can rack up damage points rapidly by transforming runes and therefore also earning piety. You can have from 100 to 150 damage by the time you're nearing the boss !

Haven't even managed to win this yet. I get to the boss leveled up but I always fail... Still, thanks for making me discover this game, it's simple and fun ! :)

Not happening but would be interesting. :)

The "pay for alpha" (15 or so) would be interesting because it's a bit of money for Introversion and would help them see what works and what doesn't on different configurations.

Then you must have missed a bunch of really good games.

Graphics don't make a game - graphics must suit the purpose of the game.
Here, you're the mastermind behind the operations. And the art/color is perfect for it.

I hope, as zach, that it doesn't change much till release. ^^
