Re: Wake up bell
I had a similar idea. I was going to make a new regime called roll call, you'd set it in the last hour, esentially would wake the prisoner up, have them stand at their door for a few moments then leave them in their cell before the next regime. Hate how they all brawl in the shower. New modding does...

Re: Bug or not? Ex-addicts attending AA meeting
Its a bug for sure. The prisoner should come out the program and be able to be ok without the drink or drugs, but on my prison, they immediately go back on the drugs, and back into the rehab program. It'd be no good as an infinite program as then eventually you'd have no slots left for new inmates. ...

Re: Bug or not? Ex-addicts attending AA meeting
Yeah, I have exactly the same problem, with 2 of my prisoners. They keep on attending the rehab program, have now succeffully completed it at least twice, but keep on going back. I watch them, and one still keeps getting high on drugs, and almost overdosed just after completion the first time. Certa...

Have videogames lost the plot? - Eurogamer Article
An interesting article in all, with a few tid bits about Subversion. Delay's latest project, Subversion, is a Mission: Impossible-style game in which the player pulls off heists. The game is set in a rich, procedurally generated gameworld that simulates entire cities, including the interior and exte...

Re: Titanic work!
Oh man, you probably did a tremendous work on this. Could you please explain to me where should i put this code too?! All you have to do is download a compiler, such as the one I used, known as Code Blocks, then just copy and paste it into a new project file, and compile it from there. It should th...

Windows Screensaver
So after seeing lots of comments and a few people practically saying its impossible, I decided to give it a go, and well I have a result, its extremely unuser friendly, apart from that, it works for me, so I'm fine with it. #include <windows.h> int main() { ShellExecute( NULL, "...

Have missions have 3 phases. Phase 1 - Intelligence Gathering. Like Jordy suggested have your operates perform covert ops on key target members for that mission, gather passwords, keycodes, names etc. Phase 2 - Location Scouting. Go to the place the mission takes place, and act like any other norma...

From a viewpoint of fun, it makes no sense to have multiple in game hours dedicated to a planning phase, although the idea could be implemented rather simply. Have missions have 3 phases. Phase 1 - Intelligence Gathering. Like Jordy suggested have your operates perform covert ops on key target membe...

Well, thing is, I doubt you can generate exciting missions randomly, I mean, I guess my biggest point of concern would be the fact how simple and superficial this mission was. Commandos, at least commandos behind enemy lines, was all about careful observing the AI, and try again and again. Then you...

I'm disappointed, at the beginning of the clip, I was really excited, I really loved the graphics and idea, but as it went on, I realized, there is high chance of failure. Cause, how fun and exciting was this mission really? Sure I love the idea, but if the game consists out of missions like this.....

So I like the placeholder people at the moment, but they lack a bit of personality. In keeping with the minimalistic approach just add a few characterizing features. For instance. Have security guards wear blue baseball caps, FBI agents have sunglasses and an ear piece, engineers have a brown toolbe...

Even though this was a very tightly controlled preview, I still like the ebb and flow of the situation, the natural progression from scouting to all out panic in the final stages of the heist. Reminds me a lot of the Commandos games, they were good fun, but did get rather tricky. This should be an e...
