Just taking a look at your specs its your computer that is slow as a turtle. What if you had went out and bought Crysis? Without first downloading the demo? Would you expect that to work as well? Perhaps at 5 seconds per frame? (or not work at all..) I agree that Defcon is not optimized graphically ...
