Okay, I tried closing everything except Steam, and I checked in the task manager that nothing was running in the background, but the bug still appears. Since the bug only appears in game, disappears instantly when you open a menu, then reappears instantly when you close it, I really doubt the proble...

XP Compatibility mode doesn't solve the problem.

Playing in windowed mode does, though.

Ok I have a more precise description of the bug : - the bug only happens in game, but it ceases immediately when you open a menu. When you close that menu, the pointer becomes slow again. - The bug is cycling. I launched a game without doing anything and for the first 30 seconds the pointer went fin...

I can't find the proper way to make a good bug report with the Steam version of Darwinia. All i found was the sticky post referring to (what seems to be) an outdated patch, which is not applicable to the current version of the game.

So, what information shall I provide to make a good bug report ?

Nope, but I do have a joystick plugged in. Do you think it could interfere with the game ?

Same problem here : Win7 64bits, Darwinia on Steam. The mouse works fine until you begin to play : after a few seconds, the cursor becomes unresponsive and you can't play anymore.

A fix is *really* needed there, thanks.
