I've bought it, given it the 5 start rating, and am playing it. My avatar is wearing the T-shirt. At the risk of being a super-fan, is there anything else we can do to support this great game more on XBLA?

The trial download didn't work, but it seemed that the paid one would. I said, "I like it on PC, I'll chance it", and purchased without gettin the demo first. Unfortunately I spent my free time in the morning blowing snow, so I'll wait till this evening to try it.

I believe that it is lawful to sell/trade/gift a copy of software to someone else if you cease using it yourself. You jumped down the OP's throat for blatant piracy, when none was indicated.

Glad to hear your friend liked it.

For me, Galactic Conquest goes back as far as the 80's when I played a shareware game, called Galactic Conquest, on my friend's Commodore 64. I wrote a clone for the Atari 800 in BASIC, for my own enjoyment, and this was the first game I'd written. Those were turn based. The best modern version I've...

Some poorly worded questions. People writing questions like these don't realize that they interject their own predjudice in the word choice. I suppose that is unavoidable though.

Well, I think the current US administration is going to give the capitilists a back seat on this term, so we'll see how that goes.

Don't try to be greedy though. The government needs your money.

"Trickle down" was a term created to paint a valid economic concept negatively. The "wealthy" aren't just the people you hate. There are the slightly less wealthy that own businesses. There are even much less wealthy stockholders that contribute to job creation. There are times w...

Xander, There is never a spend-spend. The government does not produce wealth. If they print it, it still comes out as inflation. I strongly believe that governments cannot spend their way to prosperity. They might influence certain sectors, to the detriment of others, but I have yet to see evidence ...

The only organisations around the world who can stimulate growth are governments So say socialists. I happen to think that if I had some money to spend, I'd spend it. As it is, our governments are spending money that we don't even have. So, they print money as if it were possible, and inflation mak...

It's unreasonable to think he'd have turned it around, and far fetched that he'd be able to stop the slide by now, but I think what he has done is going to prolong and compound the problem. If it does turn around, it will be despite this tax and spend policy. The economy just got done choking on a ...
