The whole pricing model reads very much like a Kickstarter project Totally agree and I was going to say this! In lots of ways this is better than KickStarter because they don't have to wait for the cash AND the punters get the game straight away. No waiting to see if it gets funded or not. But esse...

You have to click the "watch this topic" link at the bottom of the page. I find the best thing is to set it do that by default by changing the setting in your profile. :)

So I think we're all agreed this is an adult game. I think the intro sets the scene perfectly, offsetting the otherwise 'cartoon-like' graphics. I would like to think that most parents usually fire up a game before letting their spawn play with it and if this is one of the first things they see they...

Yep, same here on Mountain Lion. My config is a MacBook Pro with external display (LG, 1920x1080 resolution) and MBP lid is down. Also noticed that preferences.txt gets reset to ScreenW 0 and ScreenH 0.

Very cool.

So does that mean we can expect to see DEFCON and Multiwinia next, with simultaneous release of Subversion on all platforms? ;)

Quick question though - can I buy the PC version of these games now to enable the Mac beta, or did I need to have already owned them?

Awesome! But can I use the key that I got with the PC version that I can no longer use since I moved to Mac?

(btw, I don't have, nor want Windows installed on it)

Damn, for some reason I got it in to my head that Multiwinia was available on Mac as well and at Christmas I decide to go Mac only, no Windows.

I must have got confused with Mac version of Defcon or Darwinia. Shame, I enjoyed it when I played it on my old PC for that short time.

I bought two copies. One for myself and one for my brother in law. I didn't even bother with demo, so sorry if that messes up your stats! :)

However, I did force a coleague to download the demo earlier ... I suspect he'll buy it later this evening.
